Chapter 13: Layer Masks

Selected sky using alpha channel and adding a layer mask to replace it

Selected sky using quick selection and refine selection and then replacing it with a layer mask

Created a non-destructive vignette using layer masks and adjusting it with layers adjustment

Chapter 12: Layer Styles

Chapter 10 - Layer Opacity And Blend Modes

First we learned the difference between Opacity and Fill.  Opacity is the layer and all of its effects while fill only applies to the layer but leaves it's effects.

Chapter 10 went through all the blending modes so here they are:

We covered some layers basics.  Our one project was to create a non-destructive vignette using layers.
